Zeus Miner Blizzard VS GAW Miners Fury

ZeusMiner and both GAW Miners offer scrypt mining asics that are not only similar, but in some cases practically identical. We’ll take a look at the ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury side by side to see if we can spot any differences.

The ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury are both advertised as scrypt mining asic hardware capable of providing a hashrate of approximately ~1.3Mh/s using about ~40-45 Watts. From the top level view, both miners look identical and can be seen in the picture below:

Both the ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury use the same micro USB interface to connect to the mining hardware:

They both come with similar 12V-5A power plugs, but you can also use an ATX to DC Barrel Plug adapter to connect multiple units

When looking at the back of the ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury there seems to be a slight difference in the nut used to secure the bolt to the unit, but this should not have any effect on the mining hardware’s performance.

The only visual difference that could be seen when comparing the ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury is that the GAW Miners Fury came with the GAW Miners logo on the side while the ZeusMiner was blank. We have seen pictures of Zeusminer Blizzards with the ZeusMiner logo on them, so it may be that we just received an earlier version that did not get the logo stamped on it.

So after checking out the ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury and viewing them side by side, it’s safe to say that the two scrypt asic miners are visually identical. The real question is how is the performance? The screenshot below shows BFG Miner running on both the ZeusMiner Blizzard and the GAW Miners Fury.

The screenshots are a little different due to the miners being started at different times, but the hashrates on both scrypt mining asics even out over time. The bottom line is that this side by side comparison shows what most people people on the forums have known for a long time, even though neither ZeusMiner nor GAW Miners will explicitly state it. The ZeusMiner Blizzard and GAW Miners Fury are identical devices with identical performance.
