A few weeks ago, GAW Miners introduced the world’s first Digital Cloud Miner with the GAW Miners Hashlet. Last week, GAW Miners introduced the Hashlet Genesis, which is the easiest way to mine Bitcoins.

The one main difference with the Hashlet Genesis is that it can mine SHA256 based crypto-currencies. Simply put, you can use the Hashlet Genesis to mine Bitcoins.

In my previous post, I went into more detail on how a hashlet works. Those Hashlets are now known as Hashlet Solos. They actually are scrypt based miners that mine on scrypt based multipools like clevermining. These multipools will search for the most profitable scrypt coins to mine and point all of their hashing power at them. The pools then do all of the conversion/exchanging and provide payouts to all users in Bitcoin. From an end user standpoint, you receive Bitcoins so it seems like you’re mining Bitcoins, but there is some extra work that goes on behind the scenes. With the Hashlet Genesis, since it is a SHA256 based miner, you can actually mine for Bitcoins on Bitcoin pools instead of through Alt-coin pools that convert to Bitcoin.

The other main difference with the Hashlet Genesis over the other Hashlets is the pricing point. The cost of a 10 GH/s Hashlet Genesis is only $9.95 USD. That basically means that you can start mining Bitcoin today for just $9.95! All of the other Hashlets cost more than the Hashlet Genesis. The various Hashlet Solos range from $16.95-$20.95 and the Hashlet Prime goes for $49.95.
